What is TAP?

TAP defines the first standard for sending alphanumeric messages to pagers.

 

TAP - Telelocator Alphanumeric Protocol

The majority of paging terminals support the TAP / IXO paging protocol. If you have an in-house terminal or system the manufacturer can tell you if the terminal is TAP compliant. If you are a paging carrier or telecom provider who supports TAP and you would like to be added to the list below please send us an email.
